Friday 4:05 pm Update: Prop 11 margin continues to grow slowly
Proposition 11’s margin has grown to 107,299 votes (from 97,321 two days ago). As of 4:05pm, 66,497 more ballots have been counted. The new ballots split 53.8% yes, 46.2% no. The Secretary of State’s 1:05 pm Friday update shows no new ballots counted. San Bernardino and a number of other counties did report their remaining uncounted ballots. There are now 2.63 million ballots uncounted statewide, excluding the five counties that have not yet reported their uncounted ballot numbers:  San Francisco, Fresno, Imperial, Lake and Trinity. Ballot counting has resumed, if slowly. Between 3pm Wednesday and 7am Friday, only 55,000 ballots have been counted and reported to the Secretary of State.
