On Tuesday, California voters approved propositions 1, 2, and 47 while rejecting propositions 45, 46, 48.
Both Proposition 1 and Proposition 2 received 66.8% “yes” votes. Perhaps the most closely watched measure, Proposition 47, passed with 58.8% of the vote.
On the losing side, Proposition 45, Proposition 46, and Proposition 58, all received less than 41% of the vote; 40.2% of voters voted “yes” for Proposition 45 while Proposition 48 and 46 only received 39.1% and 32.8% of approval votes respectively.
