The Rose has left indelible marks on me since leaving CMC. Learning the intricacies of redistricting and using GIS software to see the inner workings has kept me following such news closely ever since. I can’t read an article about city taxes or tax changes without thinking of the Kosmont survey. Also, while I can’t remember all the cities I covered my first year, I do remember some and a lightbulb goes off whenever I visit one (like Chula Vista this summer). I also have very fond memories of heading to Walters for lunch with the senior staff (or for Board of Governors events) and always making sure we ordered the Bowlanies.
