Glendale Election Vote Tracking

In a new joint project with the City of Glendale, the Rose Institute created and published an interactive map to allow voters to track ballots as they were transferred to the election headquarters and counted. On the ballot were spots on the City Council, the Board of Education and the Glendale Community College Board of Trustees. The city faced a problem: when election results are released, citizens outside of the clerk’s office never knew which of the precincts they were coming from. The institute leveraged its web savvy and its resources to actually get the information from the many different places where it’s recorded onto one website for people to see.
