Ballot counting has resumed, if slowly. Between 3pm Wednesday and 7am Friday, only 55,000 ballots have been counted and reported to the Secretary of State.
On Prop 11, of the new ballots:
Yes: 25,845 (53.3%)
No: 22,603 (46.7%)
Blank: 7,153 (12.9% of all new cast)
So the trend is positive from this small pool, but not yet definitive.
Overall, Prop 11 remains steady at 50.6%:
Yes: 4,692,302 (50.6%)
No: 4,590,292 (49.4%)
