Rose Institute Award given to Zev Yaroslavsky on April 11

On Thursday, April 11, 2019, the Board of Governors of the Rose Institute conferred the Rose Institute Award for Excellence in Public Service to former Los Angeles Board of Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky with a reception and dinner held at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum.  The event was attended by members of the board, Institute staff and students (both current and former) and CMC staff, students, and other guests.  After the brief reception, Director Andrew Busch welcomed all the attendees.  After a hearty dinner, Rose Institute Board Chairman Ray Remy and Director Busch had the honor of presenting the award to Mr. Yaroslavsky, who accepted it graciously, then proceeded to share his reflections of his life serving the city of Los Angeles.  Click to learn more about Mr. Yaroslavsky and the Rose Award.
