Rose Fellow Douglas Johnson spent an hour today with the California Citizens Redistricting Commission discussing the stages of independent redistricting processes and a brief general history of California redistricting. The PowerPoint is online here. The PowerPoint includes academic and judicial definitions of various redistricting criteria. Those were included based on the Commission’s earlier discussions about a desire to have that information, but were not discussed during the hearing.
