Douglas Johnson in the Press Enterprise

From an article by Doug Haberman in today’s Press Enterprise:

But Doug Johnson, an elections expert and fellow at the Rose Institute of State and Local Government at Claremont McKenna College, was critical of Dunmore’s handling of the election.

If it was too difficult for her team to verify and count eight ballots one night, “It’s just not being ready for the crunch,” he said.

On Nov. 15, the day after Dunmore delayed counting the final eight Ward 1 ballots, she had one team of about 10 people working on the 143 paper ballots cast at the polls countywide…
